Price Action Course Details

Advanced Price Action Trading

We have analyzed price action patterns over the past 10 years and developed precision methods to trade these setups based on proprietary quantitative data never before published. These are all highly advanced strategies that are easy to learn, and yet they offer you high-probability price action forex setups along with intraday pivot point strategies to trade the markets.

If you are looking to simplify your trading while having precision methods, this course is for you.

What Previous Course Members Had to Say About the Course

Hola Chris!! WOW AND WOW!! Watched and rewatched 5 videos this week-end and really enjoy! THATS WHAT I WANTED FOR A LONG TIME!!.. Price Action UNDERSTANDING it was simple and clear and straight to the point.
Fredric G Canada
Loving the systems from the Price Action Course as they are all rule-based which completely takes out the guesswork. I’ve already had several winners this week alone! Not many people if any can back up their strategies with quantified data.
Grant D UK
I just wanted to say thank you for your amazing methods. i have learnt a vast amount on Price Action and am now so much more confident and comfortable as a trader, all thanks to your course which is amazing value for money.
Gazi S UK
I made 3% in 3 days since obtaining the courses risking only .5% per trade. The strategies are excellent…I feel like with hard work, I have a light at the end of the tunnel
Ken T US
You are the only person I have seen that actually publishes price action statistics and quantitative numbers from your empirical data. Bravo!
Ray F US
Took and finished the Price Action Course this weekend…absolutely loved it, Chris!

Advanced Pivot Point Trading

Even if you are not using pivot points now, you will be once you understand their potency, power and how they solve the most important issue for traders: entries and exits. We have tested more than 10 metrics on pivot points for the past 10 years with respect to:

  • The percentage chance of any single pivot being broken on any given day
  • The percentage chance that if one pivot is broken, the next one will be touched
  • How close price has to get to a pivot before it is likely to touch it
  • How to trade reversals with pivot points (reversion to the mean)
  • How to find optimum breakouts using pivot points (RS3 breakouts)

And more

Very few books have been written on pivot points or advanced price action techniques. The quantitative price action data and the precise methods make this course completely unlike any other course or book. The data, information, and rule-based systems to trade price action or pivot points are not available anywhere else.

If you want to develop a unique yet simple trading edge and have the passion to become a successful forex trader, then this course is for you.

FAQ

Is this a one time fee and do I have unlimited access to the videos?

There is only a one time fee and all updates are free. Yes, you have lifetime access to the course and can watch the videos as many times as you want.

What kind of support do I get and how is the follow up session conducted?

You get full email support from me, a free follow up session from me, and access to the traders forums. The course tutorials and lessons are in video format over 13+ videos that you can watch 24.7.365. There are also lessons in article/text format as well.

I am a complete newbie in trading. How will this course benefit me?

Of all the trading skills you can have, price action would be the most important base you can have. In this course I start with the most basic models of how to read and trade price action. From here I teach you how to trade trends, pullbacks in trends, transitions in trends, find key reversals, high probability breakouts, critical support and resistance levels, along with proper risk management and building a successful trading psychology – so quite a lot.

I have a full time job - can I still use your systems and are there certain times of the day they only work on?

A large majority of my students have full time jobs and still trade successfully using these systems. If they can, so can you. I have strategies that work throughout the day as there is a huge range of strategies from the 5m, 15m, 30m, 1hr, 4hr, daily and weekly charts, so regardless of your time zone and availability, there are strategies for you to trade.

What are the hit rates of your systems and are they subject or rule based and can be programmed?

System accuracy is a meaningless figure with reward to risk ratios. I have over 11+ systems across 8+ instruments, across 7+ time frames, and accuracy varies per pair, time frame and system, so to list them all would be ridiculous. Min. is 1:1 reward to risk ratio, with some that can run to 4+:1 or even higher if the trade goes for a big runner. About 90% of them can be programmed as they are rule based. The others require some discretionary elements, but still come with rules.

I trade index futures, currency futures, and commodities. Do your systems work in these markets?

Price Action Trading works with any markets that have sufficient liquidity. I personally use them on forex, index futures and commodities.

If you are such a successful trader, then why do you teach?

Good question – please read my article Why I Do This.

Do you post trade alerts in real time?

NO as students would just hitch a free ride. I do post many after they are done and comment on each one breaking them down. My students however post live trade setups every day along with my top students who are quite excellent traders.

Are there any independent reviews of your course?

Yes, you can find them here on the following link (2ndSkiesForex Reviews).

  1. I am very interested in your advanced course but the time difference and the fact that I have a full time job makes me hesitant to join.
Please advise if these problems can be addressed?

  2. Hello Tom,

Good question. The entire course is all on video that you can view 24/7 with lifetime membership so you can view it any time you want, when its convenient to you and at your own pace.

Thus, this should accommodate to your busy schedule.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  3. Hi Chris,

Thank you for the promp reply.

I will be placing my order early next month.

Do you use any indicators with your trading and what will your book cover that is not included in your course?

    Kind regards

    Tom

    Thank you

  4. Hello.

I am a complete newbie in the forex market. How is this course beneficial for the beginners in forex industry?

  5. Hello Lucky,

I got your email as well so I will respond there, but to give you a preview, this course teaches you rule-based systems to trade the market. Its like giving you a tool and telling you exactly how to use it, and in this case, to trade the markets. We also teach you specific methods to read price action which is the most important tool for reading charts – thus the basis of all trading.

But ill give you a more thorough response via email.

    Kind Regards
    Chris

  6. Hi Chris, I believe that learning price action is essential to becoming an effective trader but I am also drawn to the advanced Ichimoku Course, perhaps its the visual nature of the Ichimoku that I’m attracted to. I would like to complete both courses so which one would you recommend to learn first? Cheers!

  7. Hello Graeme,

    Good question.

If you feel a natural attraction and are drawn to the Ichimoku Cloud, then I tend to recommend following that. However,
learning to read price action is an invaluable skill set to be used with any system or environment. In fact, Ichimoku and Price Action
together are a deadly and powerful combination when you learn how to use them together.

Tough to say which to do first, the price action course will give you a skill set and base for all your trading, while the Ichimoku Cloud
will give you unique tools for momentum and trending moves.

Hopefully this makes it easier for you.

FYI – You can also sign up for both together and get a discount, then start with whichever one you like.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  8. Hello Chris just purchased your course, how do I go about starting it? Will it be via email or USmail?

  9. Hello Helder,

I just sent you the login email so go ahead and read through it, then register for the account. I’ll activate it and get you started.

Looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards

  10. Hi Chris,

I saw your video on FxStreet, very informative and different. I have been trading Forex for the last two years. Lost two accounts of 3k along with the education investment. I use to put the trade and go to work and by the time i come back stop loss is hit. Labelled as a loser by friends and family. I want to succeed in trading/ Left Forex and started with Futures (trading demo EUR/USD).

Now, the only time i could trade is during 4:00am to 6:00am eastern time, on smaller time frames, as i do not want to risk. Could you please suggest me which course should i take Advanced Price Action, Pro Forex Trading Course or Advanced Ichimoko Course when you have a chance?

Thanks in advance and have a great day and trading.

    Regards,

    - Azeem

  11. Hello Azeem,

Good questions. I’m going to email you my response so we can discuss it there.

    Look for my email shortly.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  12. hello Chris
I was wondering if you have any other payment processor other than paypal eg plimus. I would have loved to join your team but some xountries are not allowed access to paypal.

  13. Hello Chris

Just wanted to ask you a quick question. I know that all the systems that you teach are rule based but I still want to know which course comes with systems with the least amount of subjectivity. Although I am not completely new to fx, I would prefer the least amount of guesswork and subjectivity that could affect my performance.

    Thank you

  14. Hello Jimmy,

Good question. Out of all the courses, the most rule-based is the Price Action Course which out of all the systems, only has one with any sort of subjectivity in it and that is only a particular aspect or variable of the system, not the entire system which is mostly rule-based.

So without a doubt, the price action course.

    thoughts?

feel free to email me directly info@2ndskies.com with any further questions as I am happy to help.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  15. Thank you Chris! Actually I am glad because price action is the one that I was very heavily leaning towards.

  16. Good to hear. Removing the subjectivity is critical as there are already enough decisions to make, so the rules help to reduce the stress as much as possible while increasing the learning curve so hopefully this helps.

looking forward to working with you soon

    kind regards
    cc

  17. Hello Chris.

Can you give us some idea using your price action course principles what your typical win:loss ratio is on intra-day forex trading and are your wins larger than your losses..

    Thanks in advance.

    Donald Mackenzie

  18. Hello Donald,

Some good questions. Sure, I can give you some rough numbers. By the way, when you say ‘us’, are there more of you or are you representing a group of people?

    Regardless, here are some basic numbers;
Win/Loss Ratio 60-70% on avg. per day
In almost every case the wins are minimally 1:1 and up to 4:1, but too many systems and targets to give you one answer for all. Just depends upon the system.

Hope this helps give you a rough idea.

    Thoughts?

Feel free to email me directly via info@2ndskies.com for any further questions.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  19. Hello Chris,

I just have one question, do the systems in the price action course have objective take profit levels or does it vary depending on the trader. Because from your webinars, say yesterday’s webinar, I see that you sometimes use previous support/resistance for exits which can be very different for different traders.

    Thanks!

  20. Hello Krish,

    Very good questions.

Some of the systems are based on quantitative data, so they will have fixed targets based on the data. Along those lines, some of the systems will have multiple target choices, depending upon the pair and data.

There are also systems that have targets which are not fixed per se (as in set number of pips) but are based on rules, such as; if x is the entry, then apply y and z to mark your targets, etc.

So really both but all the rules are explained for entries and exits on all the systems so very little discretionary work to do – down to an absolute minimum.

    Thoughts?

Feel free to email me directly via info@2ndskies.com with any specific questions you may have.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  21. Thank you, exactly what I was looking for.

  22. Hello Donald,

I should have clarified when talking about 4:1, that is reward to risk and not risk to reward, so some of the systems have a target 4x the size of the risk. Just depends upon the system, but minimally 1:1 and with the accuracy levels we are talking about, they mathematically make money.

    Hope this clarifies things.

    Kind Regards
    Chris

  23. michael c

I trade from 6am est-11am est. will these strategies work within these trading times

    thanks

  24. Hi Chris,

    Your quote is so true…

“There is one thing more expensive than education, and that is losing money.”

As a subscriber to your Advanced Price Action course, and Private Mentoring… I thought I’d share my experience.

As a novice trader I had no background or experience in trading. All I really had was an open mind and a willingness to do whatever it took to become a professional trader. For nine months I searched the web, used trading forums which helped somewhat, but it was a challenge filtering through endless trading sites.

After nine months I hit the wall, as runners in a marathon say. I was constantly circling the wagon finding a new or better system, but I stuck…and going no where.

Fortunately, I started listening to your webinars, and reading your articles. Everything, your rule based trading systems, historical quantitative data, and most important…your approach to mental/emotional aspect of trading was exactly what I needed.

So I made a decision, took the plunge and subscribed to your course.

It was a good decision! After our first session together my trading made an immediate turn around and has ever since. The simplicity, and accuracy of the course has been a huge benefit.

    Chris…you have my thumbs up!

    Thanks again……Cal

  25. Hello Chris.

Thanks for the info, I just cant make up my mind what would be the best course to start of with the advanced price action or pro forex trading course..?? I prefer intra day trading 1 hr/15 min time-frame. Which one would be most suitable for those sort of time frames..?? I use mt4.

    Regards.

    Donald

  26. Hello Donald,

If you are gearing more towards intraday trading, then the ProForex Course would be the way to go as it has a lot more systems geared towards the 1hr time frames and less. Several on the 1hr, including the new volatility striker system which has been doing exceptionally well lately, and also the 3min shadow system so plenty of weapons for your time compressions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  27. Hi Chris,

I’ve just come across your website today and have been reading some of your articles. All I can say is am glad I found your website.

A quick question, approximately how many active members in the private forum?

    thanks for your time.

    Gulam

  28. Hello Gulam,

Thank you for the kind words.

On the Price Action Course specifically, we currently have over 200+ members. As to how many are active, hard to gauge that as it changes daily but I generally get 15-30 questions/posts a day and we are constantly getting more active as Im adding videos now on a monthly basis along with increased membership growing on a daily basis.

Basically, we are getting a new course member to this course specifically every day and I expect that number to continue growing.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards
    Chris

  29. Thanks for the quick reply Chris.

    Sounds good to me.
    Hopefully I’ll be joining soon.
I’ve got the the first week of April off work so it would be an ideal time for me to go through the course just to get a basic understanding of what price action is all about.

    Regards,
    Gulam

  30. Hello Gulam,

    Sure thing.

FYI – you get lifetime access so you can study anytime you want when its convenient for you.

Looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards
    Chris

  31. Brad Uhlenhoff

Chris, I am considering your course because it looks like a great value and could help me in my understanding of trading price action. My question is does your course teach how to trade lower time frames like a 5 min or 15 min or only Daily, 4H and 1H. I have heard that almost all good traders end up trading higher time frames, but I can’t figure out how to integrate that into my life. I tried a course from a guy who recommends only 4h and daily, but the “rollover” rate is much higher as you sit in bed wondering what the market is doing because you aren’t flat. I pretty much prefer setting up maybe 4 trading hours a day and being flat otherwise. Anyway, Let me know I don’t want to take another course that is primarily relevant to high time frames, but then again maybe all successful traders trade hourly and above. Your thoughts? Thanks Much

    Brad

  32. Hello Brad,

Some good questions. There are successful traders on all time frames from the tick to the weekly, quite a wide range.
I do notice a trend in traders that as they go on in their career, they tend to move towards higher time frames, probably
because the stress and burnout rate on intraday trading takes its toll.

    In regards to the price action course, i’ll give you a list of time frames so you can have a full picture;
Mostly concentrated on 4hr and Daily
systems also on the 3min, 15min, 30m and 1hr (all designed to be done intraday)

In terms of the rollover rate you talk about, that eventually goes away once you start trading successfully as you no longer worry about the market, you just have enough experience to trust your system and let things play out. In reality, there is very little you can do as you cannot control the market whether you are at the computer or not. If you are really accepting your risk from the outset and follow your plan, then what does sitting at the computer really offer you? You are going to let the trade play out to your limit or stop anyways, so worrying about the market and what its going to do doesn’t really do you any good because if you follow your system and all the rules, you are letting the trade play out, even though you are in front of the computer. So what is the real difference?

I pose this as a challenging question to see if you can understand what I am saying.

But hopefully you have enough info regarding the course to make a decision.

Keep in mind, if you really want to trade intraday only and you cannot bare the idea of holding positions for long, then check out the proforex course whereby there are plenty of intraday systems as the majority are concentrated on that.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  33. hello Chris

i never thot I would ever trade with anything else besides price action 21 EMA and a MACD and if I want to get fancy i could add up alligator for the effects, but then i was bored last week and i decided to watch your video on Ichimoku trades and Kumo breaks and I started doing some digging and… was blown away by the symmetry and accuracy etc.
before last week i was sure of the course i wanted to take but now am confused since you have 3 of them I guess. which would you advice me to take? can I take all three? will there be a discount? what is the advantage? etc

    please reply soonest.

    kind regards

  34. Hello Ricky,

Ironically, Ichimoku and Price Action work incredibly well together as Ichimoku was built upon price action and how to read it from a different perspective. But yes, it has a unique symmetry and is very accurate.

If you are looking to take all three courses which many of my students do, let me know via info@2ndskies.com and i can get you a discount.

In terms of the advantage, by taking all three (or even two) you will have a greater arsenal and set of weapons to tackle the market. But even more so, you’ll be able to find a good symmetry of systems that work best for you while gaining an incredible understanding of the market, why it moves the way it does and how to take advantage of the key moves.

Hope this helps give you a better idea but email me directly so I can get you the discount.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  35. Hi Chris

I had a question, does the PA course have intraday systems? And also, are they any indicator based systems in it?

And finally, will it be a problem to use paypal from Canada (in cad dollars) to buy the course?

  36. Hello JS,

Yes, the course has several intraday systems.

The pivot system could be considered indicator based i guess. The others have a max of one indicator used in it.

Paypal from canada works just fine for payment.

Does this answer all your questions?

    Kind Regards
    Chris

  37. Yes, thank you Chris.

  38. De nada Jim.

Any further questions – feel free to ask me via info@2ndskies.com

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  39. Hi,

I am very impressed with the material on youtube on the 2ndskies channel.

Was thinking, are all systems in the price action course mechanical in nature?

  40. Hello Agni,

I just noticed your name which I think in indian culture is the god of fire. very cool.

In regards to the questions regarding price action course, yes, all but save one of the 12 or so systems in the price action course are rule-based systems, meaning all the rules for entries, exits, stops, limits, taking profits, everything are all rule-based. So there is no guess work. Either you have a trade or you don’t

This helps with the learning curve as there is less emotions and discretionary decisions to make. You just apply the rules and trade.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

Should you have more, feel free to email me directly via info@2ndskies.com

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  41. Hey Chris, Thank you very much for the reply.

Yes you are right. I am Indian and Agni means fire, and as you said, there is also a God of Fire in Indian culture :)

  42. Hello Agni,

Very cool name, glad I got that one right (whew) since i’ve been practicing yoga for over a decade, but my names are a little rusty.

Glad I was able to clarify the systems in the price action course.

Hope to be working with you someday and that you are profiting from all this volatility.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  43. I will definitely be working with you soon. The clear rules that come with the course is something I really really want. I can’t wait until I start the course, likely in beginning of next month.

  44. Hello Agni,

Good to hear. Will be looking forward to working with you as well.

Until then, best of luck trading!

    Kind Regards
    Chris

  45. Hi again Chris

I wanted to get one question clarified. I saw your recent monthly webinar on FXstreet and you said understanding PA is very important. But I was wondering if it is absolutely necessary to still be able follow and trade your systems for someone new to PA who doesn’t really have a great deal of understanding just yet.

I will be signing up next week, just needed to get my final query cleared before I do! Thanks for your time Chris and have a great weekend.

  46. Hello Agni,

    Good question.

Regardless of whether you are new to PA or quite developed, you’ll still be able to follow and trade the systems easily because they are all rule-based, meaning all the rules for trading the systems are completely explained with tons of examples. All the rules for entries, exits, stops, limits, taking profits, everything are explained in the course and are easy to understand and implement, so regardless of where you are at, this will not be an issue.

I have many students like you with little/no experience and they pick up just fine and are now trading profitably so if they can, then I don’t see any reason why you could not either.

    Hopefully that answers your question.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  47. Thanks Chris. I am really looking forward to next week to start studying the course!

  48. Looking forward to working with you as well Agni.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  49. Hi Chris

I was wondering if there are any spots left in April for the PA course? Because my paypal deposit should be done very soon and I will be ready to purchase the course this weekend.

    Thanks!

  50. Hello Agni,

Yes, a few slots still open. Keep me apprised but looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  51. Charles

    Hi Chris,

I am only interested in trading daily bars. Which of your courses can help me? I would like to trade without any indicators- just price action. Is this possible?

  52. Hello Charles,

All the systems in the price action course are indicator free. Most of the 12+systems work on the daily time frames so this would be the course to go with based on what you are looking for.

Does this answer all your questions?

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  53. Last week I wrote asking

Chris, can you tell me what your performance in % is. Win to loss ratio, and what money management % you commit to a trade.
    Many thanks
    Adam

I have received your confirmation email for my question post, but can not find your reply on your website or email.
Can you give me this information, please.
    Adam

  54. Hello Adam,

I replied to your post but the reason you are not finding it is you asked the question in another location, not on this page.

Here is the link to the reply which you can scroll down and find it there:
    http://2ndskiesforex.com/forex-videos/price-action-trading-trading-intraday-price-action/

You are also welcome to email me directly info@2ndskies.com for your questions which I’ll be happy to answer them all there as well.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  55. Hi Chris,
Just out of curiosity, how accurate are your systems for the price action course?

    Peter

  56. Hello Peter,

The systems in my price action course range from 57-74% accuracy depending upon pair and time frame.

Hopefully this gives you a good idea about the course and systems.

If you have further questions, feel free to email me directly Info@2ndskies.com

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  57. Hi,

Do you go into great detail on how to identify and use support and resistance lines (like james16 thread in forexfactory) in this course?

    Thanks

  58. Hello Joseph,

Yes, that is one of the things we cover in the course.

Although what we cover is far more in depth than the material in that thread in terms of price action trading.

So hopefully this gives you some idea about the course.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  59. This is just following on from my posts above for those who would like a view from someone who is a member of the price action course.

I did end up joining in the first week of April and glad I did.
The strategies and insight that Chris provides are priceless.

There are many strategies in the course and Chris is constantly updating and tweaking these and also adding new strategies to the course.

What you get from this course is more than you expect.

I have read through many of the strategies in the course but only trade one at this point as I would like to master one of them and then move to the next rather than trying to learn all of them at once. But when I look at the charts I can see some potential trades I could take based on the different strategies Chris teaches in the course.

As with anything, you need to be willing and committed in order to master it and this is no different.

I do not claim to be making any profit as such but that is due to lack of time on my part. But most evenings I have a quick look through the charts and can see the trades I could have taken and collected a tidy profit to add to my balance for the next trade.

Anyone who is serious about learning and understanding price action should consider making this small investment and am sure you will not be disappointed.

Hope my comments make the decision of joining easier for you.

    Kind regards,
    Gulam Sattar

  60. Ruby Red

    Hi Chris,
I have been learning Harmonic pattern and Price Action for few years. But none learn directly from author. Only read from the books. I might be missing someting because i feel my trading strategy doesn’t make much winning improvement and i plan to study more from you.
Now my questions: do your strategy work on any knd of market? I trade Index Future , options trading and commodity sometimes..

  61. Hello Ruby,

    Good questions.

    Yes, the strategies work on any instrument, but I want to fully disclose a few things;
    1) there are several strategies with quantitative data on them. currently, the data is only tailored towards forex, with the ES and YM, along with gold and silver. So if you plan on being totally reliant upon the quantitative data, then there will not be for markets outside of this.

But can the strategies work on other markets? Absolutely. I have several traders using this on oil, futures, stocks and indices as well. So hopefully this gives you a good idea.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  62. Hi Chris,

Are there mt4 indicators in this course for the pivots and any other techniques?

    Thanks
    Walid

  63. Hello Walid,

Yes, we give the pivot indicators for mt4 and another indicator as well.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  64. Hi Chris,

Just a couple of questions regarding your Price Action Course:

    1. I know it’s all accessible online, but how is the content delivered – is it a combination of videos and written material (eg PDF documents)?

    2. Just as a very rough guide, how many hours of study would you say it would take to get through the material in the course, taking it fairly steady and making sure you understand all the content ?

    Thanks in advance.

  65. Hello David,

Good questions, going to answer both in one shot.
-All videos, but the forum is also a library of material with prior setups, questions, discussions, etc.
Currently, there are over 7.5hrs of video lessons and 2500+ posts just in the ‘Tutorials and Lessons’ section
so hopefully that gives you some idea.

In terms of how long it would take you – no idea since I don’t know your experience, skill set and ability to digest this material,
but most watch the videos several times before fully digesting it.

We are also adding new video lessons (almost monthly) so the course is always growing.

Hopefully this gives you some idea.

Did I answer all your questions?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  66. Yes, thanks Chris, hope to be joining up soon.

  67. Hi Chris,

How many conditions need to be met on average for each of the strategies? I ask because I have seen strategies in other courses which have conditions that would make them virtually impossible to follow in real-time.

    Thanks

  68. Hello Walid,

    Good questions.

Anywhere from 1-4 conditions. None of our systems are impossible to find or follow, and many occur daily across multiple pairs so quite a fair amount of trading activity on a regular basis.

    Hopefully that answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  69. Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply. So would I be able to look at a chart and see if the conditions have been met or are there calculations involved? (I use the MT4 platform)

Also how is this course different to the James16 one?

    Thanks for your time

  70. Hello Walid,

Sorry for delay as i’ve been on vacation visiting family I have not seen in a long time.

In regards to your questions, yes, the triggers and variables are pretty easy to spot, and other than one of the 11 or 12 systems, you will not need a calculator.

Mt4 works fine as most of my students have this.

In terms of how this course is different than the James16, first off there is no quantitative data on each price action formation in the J16 course, so quite a different thing to hear someone tell you the system works – but another thing to have data on it and precise data. But also many of the systems in my course are not even in the J16 material, such as 6NT setups, or 3P HLR setups, or Sbar setups, or MSB breakouts, or RS3 breakouts, or many of the others, so quite a completely different course and not comparable.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  71. Hi Chris,

How do your systems compare with Nial Fuller’s Price Action systems? Also, does PA strategy have to be combined with Ichimoku system for increased performance?
Finally, which course(s) would your recommnd for an 1-year part-time trader with basic knowledge on PA?

Thank you in advance and best regards,

    Tasos

  72. Hello Tasos,

If I am correct, NF mostly has only 3 systems (Pin Bars, Inside Bars and Hikkakes). I have two of those, but I also have sBars, oBars, engulfing bar setups, 3P HLR reversals, 6NT pullbacks, MidStream Breakouts, RS3 Breakouts, Reversion Plays, along with quantitative data to back my systems up (NF doesn’t) and also simple rule-based details for all my systems along with 7.5+hrs of video instruction. So from my perspective, there is no comparison.

PA does not have to be combined with anything, but like all tools (including Ichimoku), when you can use it effectively, it can greatly enhance Price Action performance.

But for someone like yourself, I’d definitely recommend starting with the price action course which all those that have taken other PA courses have always stated how mine was way more unique and a tremendous enhancement to their trading.

So hopefully this gives you some good information.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  73. Comprehensive and prompt response! Thank you Chris.

  74. i paid for the Price Action course yesterday by 11 am GMT. can’t wait to get started. regards

  75. Hi chris,
I have been studying forex for 3-4 years aprox, first started with lots of indicators, macd, emas, stochastic etc. I didnt have much luck. Then a year ago I started to look at price action, the idea of using no indicators sounded great, joined nial fuller site. He has valuable info but very generic and vague , to be honest i’m confused most of the tme and his forum is full of confused newbies just like me. My trading is far from improving. I still believe price action path is the path I wanna follow, but I need boundaries, concrete rules to follow, that is why I’m writing u, do ur courses provide this? I have a fulltime job, 9-6pm EST, would this work for me? I’m interested in your courses and even private coaching, but cannot do it all yet, what would be the order u suggest? Would u help me come up with my personalized trading plan? Is the private coachimg a replacement of the courses? Is there a limit of people in ur courses? I’m just looking for the right education to have a positive impact on my trading

  76. Hello JV,

Yes, I’ve heard similar comments from students like you who took a similar path, then came to me looking for more concrete rules to follow.

In my Price Action Course, all the systems are completely rule based with clear boundaries and rules for everything; such as entries, exits, stops, limits, taking profits – everything! No vagueness at all so this helps to remove the confusion you are currently experiencing along with accelerating the learning curve. Either you have the rules in place to make a trade or you don’t. Simple as that which also helps to reduce the emotions from having to make too many discretionary decisions.

So yes, my price action course provides this. I also go into much further detail covering how to trade with trends, pullbacks, reversals, breakouts, spotting trend weakness and strength, volatility, key support and resistance levels, all while explaining the order flow behind such moves to give you a much more detailed understanding of price action.

And with your full time job, that is not an issue as I have a large number of systems on the daily and 4hr which you can take advantage of with your work. Many of my students have full time jobs and have no issues with this.

In terms of the private coaching, under most cases, I recommend the course first, then if you still want/need personalized training, we talk about that and tailor a plan then.

But you also get a free private follow up session the course so we can build you a tailored trading plan for you. But the coaching is not meant to replace the courses, just give you more tailored training. In terms of a limit, yes, there is a limit of 20 per month.

But based on what you said and what you are looking for, I’m quite confident my course and educational style (rule based systems) will have a positive impact on your trading to help you turn the corner while giving you much more clarity and detail.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  77. Hi Chris,

I’m interested in signing up to all your online courses. I’m wondering if there will be invoice for this course for tax deduction purpose.

    Thanks,

  78. Hello Setia,

If you’d like, I can send you an invoice for whatever courses you sign up for.

So yes, you’ll have what you need for tax deductions.

Best if you email me ahead of time via Info@2ndskies.com to let me know what you are looking to do specifically.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  79. Dear Chris

Been following your twitter tread for a while & find your on-line course outline quite a bit interesting. Can find out :
    a. the difference bet your course content & objective & those offered in a 3-day full-time forex class conducted in a classroom to help one built up gradually for a full-time or parttime forex trader;
    b. if your online course is available anytime (such that people like us who are working a fulltime job & can take up the course at their own pace), why would there be a limit size for each intake;
    c. as most of your course is conducted via video, will there be a problem to some who may be less inclined to catch your every words clearly as there may not be a write-up manual to accompany your video lesson. Thanks!

  80. Hello Felix,

    You asked some good questions of which my answers are below;

    a) I cannot comment on any of the 3 day full time forex classes as I have not attended those so cannot really comment on the difference.

    b) yes, the online course material is available 24/7 and you get lifetime membership so you can study when its convenient for you and at your own pace.
    In terms of the limit, I have 3 courses, and since I meet with each student personally after the course for a private session, lets do the math;
    3 courses x 20 signups per course = 60 new students x 30min session per student is 30hrs.

As you can see, that is a lot of time I spend with my students each month just during the private follow up sessions, so there is a limit, otherwise if I took 200+ people in a month, I’d never be able to trade or do anything. So hopefully that answers your question.

    c) i’ve never had a student who wasn’t able to get the information they needed as we cover all the material in the forum, you can ask all the questions you want, we have hundreds of examples per system, and you have full email support from me so this has never really happened because the traders forum and support material is quite large and extensive.

Hopefully I have answered all your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  81. Chris, I have about 30 minutes to an hour at the end of the trading day (new york time )to set up trades with buy/sell stops and limits. I go to school, work full time and have a large family that requires a lot of attention to maintain. I’m really interested in a swing/position style of trading. The problem with most of the methods I’ve encounted is that they turn swing trading into using daily supply and demand zones into daytrading by waiting for the price to hit the zone and then tunneling down to a smaller timeframe and waiting for a setup to occur. Which usually requires sitting up during the london session. I physically cannot do that at this time. Do you have systems in the prica action course that willl allow for this type of trading/

  82. Hello Royce,

You have a busy schedule, but I have many students in my course like you who have full time jobs and families that keep them busy. Yet, they find a way to trade because a) my systems are rule based which make it easy to find setups and manage them, but also b) are on the 4hr and daily time frames which you can easily trade during your times, yet not need to be in front of the computer for hours.

So to answer your question – yes, I have plenty of rule based systems to trade with very little management for people like you with full time jobs and busy family lives.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  83. Yes, that answered my question, thanks. I’ll be getting the price action course soon.

  84. Hello Royce,

Sounds good – looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  85. Hello Chris,

I’m looking for forex training and a mentor to help guide me to learn how to trade conservatively and hopefully consistently over time.

For all intents I’m a rank beginner, but am generally good at self-teaching about things I know nothing about and learning how to solve problems through trial and error. Is the Price Action course suitable for someone with aptitude but little trading experience? Does this course provide all the foundational learning needed to begin the actual practice of trading a demo account? And in your experience, how does the practical experience of learning to trade consistently unfold for beginners (in other words, what are the steps/sequence that your guide your beginning students with after taking the Price Action course)? In your experience, what has been the success rate of beginners who learn to apply your methods, and how long has it generally taken them to go live and be consistent?

    Many thanks for your time!!

  86. Hello John,

    Thank you for your candid message. Lots of questions which I will breakdown below;

    1) Yes, the Price Action Course is suitable for someone with little trading experience, but aptitude.
I have many students like you with little experience that digest their way through the material and become quite proficient
so see no reason why you cannot as well.

    2) Yes, I start with a base model for approaching price action, then from there build upon that model to trends, transitionary phases
for trends, likely reversal areas, key support and resistance levels, then onto strategies and methods to trade these environments.
All based upon the model of learning to read the order flow behind the price action, but first starting with understanding my main
    price action model.

There is no reason why you should not be able to trade a demo account with plenty of proficiency with these methods.

    3) From my experience, the learning process for beginners generally unfolds like this (if they are to become successful):
    a) study/train with a mentor
    b) practice the strategies in the course and methods to understand the price action via a demo account
    c) repetition of steps 1 and 2
    d) more repetition
    e) start working your way into live trading with low risk methods/funds and build experience and consistency
    f) from here, depending upon how their training and trading develops will determine what is next for them
But I do a follow up session with each student to help them take the best steps/path forward depending upon where they are at
So its highly tailored from here.

I have approximately 1000 students which as you can tell is impossible to follow. Generally, beginners can take anywhere from a month
to several before they start trading consistently profitable. I’ve had many do it in one month, others do it in 2, 3,….6, 7+
Just depends upon each person, diligence, passion, effort, psychology, etc.

In terms of success rates, many are up to 60/70+% accurate and making hundreds of pips a week, but again, hard to follow 1000+people.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  87. Many thanks for the prompt and thorough response Chris! I’m going to get off the sidelines and get started. Looking forward to the education and a bit of your judicious guidance! Onward!

  88. Hello John,

Sounds good – onward and upward as they say.

Looking forward to working with you and hope you are the next to turn the corner.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  89. Hi Chris

Congratulations on a fantastic website and the some excellent webinars which you have produced.

I am considering purchasing your price action course as I believe it the one which best suits trading on the longer time frames ?

My problem is that I have purchased a few courses in the past few years but have never been able to make them work. There was always a vagueness about them which meant that I was never comfortable that I was reading the signal correctly or else there was some other additional external factors which had to be taken into account. As I had no confidence that I was reading the signal correctly I never put in the necessary effort to trust the system. I am just wondering if after completing your training course one would be able to look at a chart and arrive at the same conclusion as you would when looking at the same chart ?. If so would one reach that stage purely by going through the course material diligently or does the forum function as a mechanism to provide feedback on trade selection?

    Sincerely
    Michael

  90. Hello Michael,

Thanks for the kind words. I take great pride in my work and hope it is of benefit to you and others.

In regards to your questions, all of my systems are completely rule based (save one), which means there are rules for everything, i.e. entries, exits, stops, limits, taking profits – everything, so there is no confusion about the rules.

Either the systems setup has all the rules in place or it doesn’t. Simple as that so hopefully it clarifies that.

The forum is a feedback mechanism for all trades and students are posting on average 10+ setups there a day, with me commenting before and after, so there is a lot of feedback
and information to learn from each setup and me sharing what I see, whether the trade is valid or not, why or why not, etc.

But hopefully this gives you a better idea.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  91. Hi Chris

Thanks for the clarification. There is no learning with out feed back and its good to know its an integral part of the course. I am looking forward to joining up in October.

    Sincerely
    Michael

  92. Hello Michael,

Yes, definitely an integral part of the course.

Looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  93. Carlos Macias

Hi Chris quick question would your methods of price action work on futures and stocks??

  94. Hello Carlos,

Are you talking Currency and Index Futures (Gold/Silver as well)? If so, yes, and I have a fair amount of students trading futures.
Stocks – yes, for the most part, as long as the stock is liquid and decent volatility, definitely.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  95. Hello Chris

Very impressed with a couple of videos I have watched. I have about 2 years experience with the last 8 months being overwhelmed by the stuff i have read/watched on the internet. Presently I trade 6 pairs, with about 4 charts on each pair (with different setups) and this ib becoming way too much. I can also add that I still do not know if I should draw s/r levels by myself or use an MT4 pivots indicator. There is total confusion in my trading world. Please advise where I can start to get some sanity, confidence to pull the trigger and profitability. Thanks.

  96. Hello Ravi,

From what you described, i can see why there is confusion. I often find in situations like these, it is best to simplify things, and to do that, i recommend trading pure price action on just a few pairs.

But in addition to this, i recommend trading rule based systems, beacuse when a system is rule based, it makes trading easier. Either there are the rules present for a trade, or not, and this tends to keep things clear and relaxed in the mind.

Also, to build confidence to your trading, id suggest trading systems with quantitative data behind them.

I have all this in my price action course where you will learn rule based systems trading pure price action based on quantitative data.

So this would be my recommnedation to get more clarity, sanity, confidence to pull the trigger and trade profitably.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  97. Chris,

Newbie here. I’ve dabbled in practice acounts, trying this and that. What I’m hearing makes me hopeful that there is a future for my family and I in the intraday trading of the forex markets.
I’m thinking the Proforex training may be the best to learn; the principals, rules, and empirical strategies. One thing that I would find valuable would be to belong to a trading community that employs your rules and meets on-line with a moderator. Can you suggest any once I’ve started the course?

    Ready to pull the trigger,

    Tim

BTW, in reading your bio, I was impressed by your charitable attitudes and actions. Another good reason to listen to you.

  98. Hello Tim,

In terms of using rule-based (empirical) strategies, along with a trading community, I would suggest my Price Action Course as its my most popular and has the largest/fastest growing community. Students in there post trades daily, over 10+ and many are becoming friends, almost trading together so quite a community there if that is what you are looking for.

Thus, that would be my suggestion moving forward.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  99. Constantine

    Hello Chris,

I a new in Forex Trading and I am interested to subscribe in your forex courses. Can you recommend which forex course I should take up first and in what order?

Are the forex courses offered applicable for a beginner like me? I ask this question because I notice that the title of the forex courses begins with Advanced (i.e. Advanced Price Action, Advanced Ichimoku)?

    Regards,
    Constantine

  100. Hello Constantine,

    Good questions.

For newer traders, I always recommend starting out with the Price Action Course as it provides the most essential aspect that can be used in any environment, instrument, or time frame – that of reading and trading price action.

this is where I recommend all developing traders start out and its my most popular course without a doubt. It teaches you how to trade trends, pullbacks in trends, transitions in trends, breakouts, reversals, ranges, key support and resistance levels, along with developing a successful trading psychology and proper risk management, so quite a lot. There are also students posting live trades in there several times a day, so you can see a lot of what the others are doing.

Hopefully this gives you a path forward and the best way to start.

    Thoughts?

  101. Hi Chris,
I am extremely interested in trading for a living. I work in a forex brokerage which has further intensified my interest. I have recently been acquainted with price action trading, I have read almost all your articles on price action trading and one of my colleague has taught me a a bit about price action. A friend who is a day trader recommended your site to me. I want to sign up for a course but am wondering which would suit me better. I do not want to sign up and pay for the advanced price action course only to find out that I know most of the things taught already. What would you suggest?

  102. Constantine

    Hello Chris,

    Thanks for the information.

    Regards,
    Constantine

  103. Hello Jon,

Interesting start to your career as I also worked in a broker which was a highly informative environment so hopefully you have taken advantage of it.

In terms of which course would suit you better, and in regards to the material, I seriously doubt you have learned what I have in the course because 95% of what’s in there is not on my site, or in other places. Where can you find quantitative data on price action or pivot points? Where can you learn about the 6NT Pullback System, or the 3P HLR system, or understanding volatility and transitions in trends, or mid-stream breakouts, or really good information on breakouts to begin with, offering rule-based systems to trade price action?

You won’t, so if you are really wanting to learn price action trading, then I’d suggest the Price Action Course where I am constantly adding new material and bringing things to the next level. It is also my most popular course and for good reason.

So in terms of where to start, that would definitely be my recommendation.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  104. Hossein Yousefi

    Hello Chris
I have one question regarding your price action course..will i be given a certificate which shows i have completed this course?(I mean after registration)

  105. Hello Hossein,

I do not have a standard certificate i give out fo rregistering for the course, but if you need one for work or other purposes, i can make you one, not a problem.

Let me know what you are thinking

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  106. sounds good. Do you have a promotional bundle where I can get a better price for both the advance and pro course?

  107. Hello Jon,

Yep, you can get $150 off if you order both at the same time.

If you are interested, email me via info@2ndskies.com.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  108. Hello Chris,

I’ve been reading your blog and visiting this site regularly. I’m now willing to get one of your courses.
Could you please suggest me which course should i buy: Advanced Price Action, Pro Forex Trading Course?

Thank you so much for your recent post about FEAR! I needed something like that to make the final step to start my journey to success.

    Regards,

  109. Hey Chris

I have taken a previous expensive Forex course around 3yrs ago but I still have not gotten the edge in Trading. I traded demo accounts successfully for about for several months within the last year but when it came to the live trading my account in already down by almost 50% within 2 months so I decided to stop & rethink about 2 months ago. I have been following the information on your website for just over a year & I am very intrigued with the information & articles you have available. I think what I am missing out on is being able to have a rule based system that I can follow and proper risk & management knowledge. Also I need to take out the fear in making decisions. I have looked at several courses & I am ready to sign up for your Advance Price Action course, hoping I am in the right place for advancement.

  110. Hello Steve,

First off, I teach only rule based systems in the Price Action Course which is easy to follow since all the rules for entry, exit, stop, limit, taking profit – everything are explained in the course.

I also have an entire section in the course dedicated to proper money management and understanding risk, so I think you will find this useful.

In addition to this, there is an section of the course solely for building a successful trading mindset and how to deal with emotions in trading, so this should help you
with addressing the emotions/fear you experience when making decisions.

Thus, I’d definitely recommend this course as the best path forward. Plus I am offering a holiday discount till the end of today – so hopefully you can take advantage of this.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  111. Yeunn Ject

Hi Chris, after having tonnes of review on your course material.. I have decided to get your advanced price action course as I think education does matter.. =)

  112. Hello Yuenn Ject,

Yes, Education does matter and has been a critical part of my success in many things, including trading.

I just got your order and am processing it now, so will be sending you the login in the next 30secs.

Looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  113. Hello Mr. Capre
I stumbled upon your site a couple of weeks ago and have seen some of your price action videos which is very different from the other gurus. I join Ezekiel Chew in 2010 and Nial Fuller this year, they never mentioned why the price action candle printed in an order flow perspective like you do in your video. So I take trades and don’t know why am I taking the trade thus inconsistent. I’m gearing toward joining your price action course and I do hope this would be my last hunting. Is there any holiday discount coming up soon.

  114. Hello JK,

Yes, the way I trade, teach and explain price action is not in the traditional vanilla/sophomore style. If you don’t really understand what price action is about or the result of, then you will have no idea how to explain it and just be reactive, not understanding or empowered to understand why specific price action candles are printing, or what order flow would create such moves. This I do explain in my course and videos, along with specific trades that I have taken and break them down in terms of price action and order flow behind them. But you are correct that if you do not understand what is behind those candles, you will have no idea why and be continually inconsistent.

In terms of a holiday discount, email me via Info@2ndskies.com and I’ll let you know what’s brewing.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  115. well ‘am just an upstart trader, and i’ve been wasting alot of doe, i need what it takes to get up and walk.

  116. Hello Akande,

For someone in the beginning, I always recommend starting with this course as it teaches you a critical skill for trading – that of learning to read and trade price action, which works on any time frame, instrument or environment.

In this course are only rule based systems, which helps to accelerate the learning curve while also reducing the emotions during trading.

So this would be my recommendation going forward.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  117. hi chris,
    1. do you offer a system where i dont have to be in front of computer all the time?

    2. r there differences between what i learn about price action at 2nd skies webinars & the courses offered?
    if yes, what r they?

    rgds,
    alex

  118. Hello Alex,

    Good questions.

    1) yes, i offer a dearth of systems where you do not have to be in front of the computer all the time.

    2) yes, the systems in the course are completely different. Such as when did you ever hear me in the webinars mention the mid stream breakout, or the sbar system, or the 6NT system, or the 3P HLR system, or how to read trend transitions, or volatility trends…you won’t because i never taught anything in the webinars which i teach in the course. The amount of content in the webinars which is in the course is about 5, maybe 8% max, so almost all the material in there is new.

Thus, hopefully this answers all your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  119. is the item no.1 included with the price action course?

i m constrained by available time to trade.
i m looking to place limit orders at appropriate price locations.

    rgds,
    alex

  120. Hello Alex,

Yes, item one is with the price action course. And there are many systems where you can place limit orders to enter the market at key prices where the market should react. But this is all in the price action course.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  121. Hello Chris,

Is the PA course applicable only for forex? What about other instruments like stocks and futures?

    Cons

  122. Hello Cons,

The PA Course also works for gold, silver, oil and the major indices, futures, as well as forex. I actually have some traders using it on options as well – so quite adaptable.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  123. Hi Chris ,

I’m Interested in Your PA Course ,I’m Studying and Trading PA for the last 9 Months now and would like to learn more , I have one question : Will there be updates to the information and systems in the course ? and If so would it be available for members ?

    Thank you

  124. Hello Ro,

    Good questions.

Yes, I give video updates almost every month, sometimes more than that so the body of material is always growing. Plus I update the quantitative statistics every year so they are always current.

But all updates are available for all members, regardless of when you sign up.

So hopefully this answers all your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  125. Hi Chris,

I have read your articles and watched your videos for sometime and I am amazed at the time and effort you devote to your students. I’m considering purchasing your Price Action Course and wanted to make sure it is not mt4 specific, as I have my account with TradeStation. Thank you for all the excellent material you make available on your website, I have learned a tremendous amount especially regarding the psychology of trading.

    Best Regards,
    Michael

  126. Hello Michael,

Trading and teaching is what I do – it is my passion and often-times does not feel like work, so devoting time to trading, constantly learning, and teaching others is enjoyment for me. But thank you for the kind words as I take great pride in my work.

In regards to your questions, no the course is not MT4 specific. Although I do have some indicators for MT4, they are not required to learn the material, and I have several students using tradestation, so no issues there.

Hopefully this answers all your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  127. Chris,

Thank you for the quick reply, I appreciate it. I look forward to learning from you and your community of traders.

    Best Regards,
    Michael

  128. Hello Michael,

Just got your order and I’ll be sending you the login info right away.

Looking forward to working with you as well.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  129. Hi Chris,
I’ve come across your site thru babypips and is impressed by your education and had enrolled in your PA course.
I would like to make 2013 my turning point in my part-time forex trading results with your guidance.
    Cheers
    CK

  130. Hello CK,

Good to have you aboard and working with you on the course. I also hope 2013 is your turning point and to be a part of your success.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  131. Hello Chris,
I’m looking for some education in order to get my trading business/career built on a solid foundation.
Since I work a full time job I only have time in the evenings, New York time, for analysis, placing orders, and managing open positions. So it looks like the Price Action course is where I need to begin.

I’ve watched and read some of your YouTube videos, and your articles and I have a couple of questions.

    1) I’m having a hard time reconciling that your systems are rules-based but do not use indicators. The lack of indicators makes me think that one would be interpreting the candles, which seems subjective, to determine if a rule has been met. Can you help clarify this for me?

    2) Are you working on additional systems and quantitative data so that as the global economy changes and markets change and don’t react now the same way they did 5 – 10 years ago, there will be new proven strategies to implement. Or does reading price action i.e. supply and demand remain consistent even in the days of computerized institutional trading (HFT etc.)

Thank you for all the great free information.
    Best Regards,
    Steve

  132. Hello Steve,

Yes, based on your availability and time, I’d definitely recommend the Price Action Course.

    In regards to your questions;
    1) All of my systems are rule based, meaning there are rules for entries, exits, stops, limits, taking profits – everything. The only indicator used in the price action systems is the 20ema – nothing else.

    But why do price action systems have to have indicators to be rule based? Why can’t we have something like;
If candle A is of this shape with x% towards the high, and Candle B is say X% of the size of the A candle, then go long at C?

This is not hard to create if you really understand the subtleties of price action.

But they are all rule based.

    2) I recalculate the quantitative data yearly to keep it fresh and updated. I’m actually updating them as we speak and launching the new data over the coming days. I also add new systems and methods as the market adapt – and any not performing get taken out, while the rest remain. To date, I’ve never had to take a system out – just adjust the data. And in terms of HFTs, I’m actually launching a video just for this and how to relate to them with our systems.

    Hopefully that answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  133. Hello Chris,

Thanks for the super quick reply.
Re: Question 1) I hadn’t thought of rules in the way your example used them, my limited mind was thinking along the lines of “when you see a large candle” but not defining “large”.

    Thanks again,
    Steve

  134. Hello Steve,

No worries, it took me a while to start thinking along these lines. 40,000 hours behind the charts
and a lot of patterns in the dome helped me to see things differently.

Anyways, hope to be working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  135. Al "Zoo" Zozula (Whistler, BC)

Hi Chris, I just purchased your Price Action Course through PayPal. I have removed all my Forex “clutter” from my computer…..a few years (and many dollars) worth. I’m really hoping this course is the answer to my trading woes, and I’m looking forward to a fresh start. Thanks!

  136. Hi Chris,

I’ve just finished your advanced price action course and I wanted to say how much it has helped me with understand charting. I feel that the new analytical skills that I have learned on the course will propel my trading to the next level.

I very much appreciated the simplicity of your methods, the back to basics way of using just price action and one ema with no bottom screen indicators really helps with understanding market flow.

Many thanks for your hard work in putting this together. I look forward now to using the next two courses!

    Kind regards,

    Sam.

  137. Hello Sam,

Thank you for the positive comments. This is very much appreciated as I take a lot of pride in my work, and in helping students become successful traders.

It sounds like you are making some key changes, so this is a really good sign.

But there is more to come, so I’ll see you on the course.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  138. Hello Al,

Already processed your order and sent you login, so you are good to go.

Looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  139. Hello Chris

I’ve heard nothing but good news about your Price Action Course. I have traded the forex market for 3 years and have nothing to show for it. Looking forward to learning and trading the market the right way from your course and above all things, making a profit. I have placed my order and awaiting the login credential. Please do you have an ETA on the credential?

  140. Hello Joseph,

I already sent you the login email so you should have it.

Looking forward to working with you as well and being a part of a new chapter in trading for you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  141. Chris,

Background is minimal forex experience and that was all from a spread betting perspective.

Will this course be suitable and also interested in ichimoku course as started educating myself in that area recently.
I suppose that i was thinking that it might be more cost effective to purchase the 2 courses simultaneously.
Please advise at your convenience and would you recommend one course at a time?

  142. Hello Michael,

Yes, this course is definitely suitable as I have all levels involved in this course. I explain all the base models to understand price action, and then build from there.

As to taking two courses – if you are interested in that, keep in mind there is a 2-Course Discount so email me via info@2ndskies.com for details. But using Ichimoku + PA is a powerful combination.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  143. VINICIUS DOMINGUES FRAGA

    Hello Chris!

I am very pleased and happy to have found your website explaining the price action and I really enjoyed the course and am very interested in doing it.

I knew the course forum “Binary Option Daily” on a specific topic of the forum on the price action.

There’s only one detail, I’m brazilian and do not understand English and I’m using a translation tool for this. So I wondered if I would be able to take the course anyway? If you have the possibility to add captions to videos translation in the course as well as makes you tube videos? And finally if just using the google translator I could afford you learn their strategies and learn to negotiate the price action with your course?

  144. Paul Bannister

    Hi Chris

Read some reviews (all good) about you and your course and seem some videos on FX Street.

Been trading FX for about 4 years now and been through all the usual stages – tons of indicators, holy grail, 5m, 15m time frames etc. etc and have settled on price action, mainly on 4H and Daily timeframes.

I’m a member of a couple of PA sites (both very good) but am finding the need to confirm an entry with an engulfing bar, pin bar, inside bar etc too restrictive. Many times the market turns or continues without a signal.

Would your Advanced PA course help in this respect?

Also, would I be better taking the Pro Forex Course rather than Advanced? I am happy to trade smaller time frames but feel happier at the moment with 4H and Daily.

    Thanks

    Paul

  145. Hello Paul,

Yes, if you need to confirm an entry with an engulfing bar, pin bar or inside bar, you will often miss the move entirely, or be out of position.
Those price action patterns are the result of order flow, not the cause, and it is important to understand the difference – which it looks like you are startign to find out.

As to what would help, I’d definitely recommend my Price Action Course as this would help you to read the order flow behind the price action, not just be subservient to those patterns for your entries which are inefficient.

In this course I teach you a dearth of strategies on the 4H/D1 time frames, along with intraday to find the most precise entries, and how to spot those transitions or with trend signals, so this would definitely be my recommendation going forward.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  146. Paul Bannister

That’s exactly right – the candle pattern is the result of the order flow and brings you late to the game. It’s more reactive than proactive. I will sign up for the APA course. Thanks for your clear and quick reply.

  147. That is correct regarding the candle patterns you mentioned so good intuition.

Looking forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  148. Paul Bannister

    Signed up.

Looking forward to improving my trading.

Off to bed now as it’s midnight in the UK :-)

    Paul

  149. Hello Paul,

Just sent you the login details, so you should have it.

But good rest and ill see you in the course.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  151. Maurizio

    Hey Chris,

I’m a newb & intrigued, would it be possible to double or even triple your account in 6 months risking no more than 5% trading 4H & 1Day charts using the PA strategy? I plan on becoming a member when I have the cash next month. Thanks

  152. Hello Maurizio,

I think it would be imprudent to just think you can enter the markets as a newb and double/triple your account in such a short time.

That would be something most professionals would have a hard time doing, and many of us have been doing it for years.

If your focus is on how much money you can make right off the bat, you’ll miss the crucial aspect of learning the techniques, models, and methods correctly. Your focus will be on the target, not on pulling the arrow correctly, having the correct posture, stance, breathing, concentration, release, or follow through.

So best if you just learn to trade correctly, to make good decisions, use proper risk management, follow your system, and your account will grow.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  153. Maurizio

Yes I am willing to learn first and master it on a demo account for as long as it may take me. Do you know how long (on average) before someone like myself will begin to to win more than they lose. A year? Thanks for your reply!

  154. Hi Chris,

I’m new in trading for only several months. After having some huge loses in the first month, I decided to stop it for the time being till I have sharpen my skills. I surf the web research everything about trading and come across yours as well. At the end, though there are uncountable webs talking about trading but I find that yours are giving me the most helpful information and lessons, thus I’m sending this post to you.

First of all, let me explain my trading system. I’m using MACD, ADX, Stochastic, Bollinger and some MA lines for my signal and indicator. I prefer to be an intraday trader with lower time frame chart (1H and below), fast in fast out, day in day out style. After having done so much research on web and practicing a demo, I think I’m able to catch the signal and trend for some daily market movement. But come back to real account I feel that something is missing. I hesitate to pull the trigger most of the time and towards the end seeing the chart move as per my prediction but do nothing. I’m lost in the junction and need some help.

    I have questions as below:
-How the “Advance Price Action” could help me on my trading decision and judgement?
-What’s the advantage of price action study compare to those indicators that I’m using now?
-I see that you have another course called “Pro Forex Trading”, is that more suitable to me?
-Or my way of trading is totally out which I need to restart all lessons again?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Thanks.

  155. Hello Hoh,

    In regards to your questions;

    1) In this course I teach you the base models to read the order flow behind the price action and trade that. I teach you how to trade trends, pullbacks in trends, transitions in trends, find key reversals, high probability breakouts, critical s/r levels, understand when transitions are taking place in the market, what are optimal trading environments, along with proper risk management and how to build a successful trading psychology – so quite a lot.

    2) The indicators you are using are lagging price, which is what they are based on. No indicator based system like you listed will help you react faster or better than price action which is the reflection of order flow.

    3) The Price Action Course is my flagship course and for a good reason, so between the two, and in regards to what you are looking to do, I’d recommend the price action course.

    4) It’s hard for me to comment on what you will need to do, but my course provides all the base models for reading price action, and then work your way up, so you will definitely have to unlearn a lot.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  156. Hello Vinicius,

I am not sure how I missed this comment but wanted to respond.

As far as I can tell, I do not have the capacity to add captions to the videos. I can talk with my developer about this, but first guess is I do not think so.

But email me to make sure.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  157. good day chris, im interested in the advanced price action course,if i pay is there a link on the site where i can download the course and start studying asap or do i have to wait for the course to be sent to my address.thank you.

  158. Hello Ekele,

One you pay via the site, I’ll send you login access that allows you to get started shortly after once you register for an account.
As long as I am here, the total process takes about 5-10 mins to get you setup.

Hope that helps and I look forward to working with you soon.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  159. Hi Chris

Im thinking about purchasing two of your courses at the same time. Would you give me a super discount if I did so?

    Thanks

    Henrik.

  160. Hello Henrik,

Yes, you can get a discount (super) if you order both at the same time.

Email me via info@2ndskies.com for details.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  161. michael garzon

hoping to build my account so i can enroll in your course. thanks for maintaining this website and i appreciate the free lessons here, commentaries, and videos.

  162. Hello Michael,

Glad you are enjoying the site, lessons and videos.

And looking forward to working with you soon.

    Kind Regards,

  163. Hello Chris, I’m trading forex since one year ago using price action in the 4h and daily timeframes but I want to learn to trade in minor timeframes because I’m fully dedicate to trading now. Which course do you recomend me ? the Advance Price Action Course or Pro Forex Trading Course. Thanks in advance and kind regards.

  164. Hello Rolando,

If you are wanting to trade on the intraday time frames, then I’d definitely recommend the Price Action Course which has the most systems dedicated to the lower time frames (1hr and lower to 5m).

You will also learn to advance your price action skills to the next level, so regardless of instrument, time frame, or environment, the methods/strategies in the course would be invaluable.

    Hopefully this answers your questions.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  165. Hi Chris, thanks for your quicq answer and your recomendation, I’ll buy the course as soon as possible. Best regards.

  166. Hello Rolando,

Glad I could help, and looking forward to working with you soon.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  167. Hi Chris,
I am interested in PA, I am wondering what is the main different between your course and sam seiden one?

    thanks
    chan

  168. Hello Chan,

    While I don’t have direct experience of his course, I know his work, and there are some major differences;
    1) I use quantitative data to back up my systems – he does not and there is no way with his system because there are too many subjective rules.
    2) I use rule based systems, meaning there are rules for everything, such as entries, exits, stops, limits, taking profits – everything, so there is no confusion about a trade – either you have a setup of you don’t, simple as that.
    3) I teach you how to read the order flow behind s/r levels. I teach you how to read trends, transitions in trends, identify high probability breakouts, critical S/R levels, along with using my experience in Neuroscience and 13 years of Meditation to build a successful trading mindset.

So quite a lot of differences.

Hopefully this gives you some idea how our courses differ.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  169. Hi Chris,

I have been learning Price Action from various free sources and had since made “OK” progress… over the last few months I made about 0% ~ 10% monthly, which I felt somewhat dissatisfied. I came across your website and was amazed with so much free information to learn and some really eye-opening stuff (the risk-of-ruin is one of them!). I have a very strong desire to move on to the next level and based on the course intro from your website, I know I am lacking rule-based system (though I am trading price action but my decisions are often times discretionary) so I decided to give your course a serious try.

I just have one question – I am also very interested in Advanced Ichimoku course, but I felt that I would want to grasp pure Price Action and made consistent success before I dive into Ichimoku (probably in a few months to come, or up to a year). Will you still be kind enough to give some nice discounts if I sign up the Advanced Ichimoku course later? Another reason is that I don’t have a deep pocket… I am living off Malaysia and it is 3 ringgit (Malaysian currency) to a dollar!

Thanks. I hope to hear from you soon and excited to work with you towards consistent trading success!

  170. Hello Yee Kang,

Some good questions here. Yes, id be happy to give you a members discount when you are ready to take the ichimoku course. I think its a great idea you want to learn the pa first, then the ichi. But when you are ready, just email me.

If you liked the free stuff, then you’ll be definitely amazed by the price action course so looking forward to working with you.

And hold on to your ringgits, as i think they will continue to strengthen vs. the usd long term.

    Kind Regards
    Chris Capre

  171. Thanks Chris for your prompt response!

Just while I am preparing to take on the courses, two more questions:
    1. Can you help to approve my forum registration? I’ve sent you an email to you on this.
    2. What do you think about mobile trading? Is it a good way to trade by just looking at the phone screen or some sort of tablet?

    Thanks again & good night.

  172. Hello Yee Kang,

    Good questions.

    1) The forum registration is all set and good to go.
    2) I think mobile devices are a tool, and like all tools, when used properly can be highly useful. I prefer desktop/laptop trading, but if/when needed, the mobile device can be useful.

I personally use my tablet when away from the office, traveling, or as backup if/when electricity goes down, and I find it highly useful. I’ve been able to protect/adjust positions when needed, and it was very helpful for it.

Personally, I like FXCM’s TS2 mobile platform as I find it to be the best.

Anyways, hope this helps and look forward to working with you.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  173. Chris does your system help u become a independent trader or will I just follow your systems?

  174. Hello Jim,

This is a very good question.

My systems are rule based, meaning there are rules for entries, exits, stops, limits, taking profits – everything. Either you have a setup or you don’t. So to start off with, you learn to follow the systems.

However, the next level of training is to use the price action models in the course to become an independent trader, find the setups on your own, but also develop the tools and skills necessary to trade completely on your own – meaning I teach you how to fish on your own. Most of the traders end up making it to this level because they learn to trade using our models, but in a way that works best for them and their natural abilities, thinking, and availability. And our really advanced traders end up creating models/systems from the tools and systems they learn in this course.

So hopefully this gives you some good ideas and understanding of how the course works.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  175. does reading price action work on the 1 minute and 5 minute

  176. Hello Tom,

When you learn to read price action using the proper models, it can be done on any time frame, instrument or environment.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  177. Hi Chris,

I’m considering to purchase either your Price Action course or NF’s. Can you please give me some insights about the similarities and differences between yours and his, so that it helps me to decide which one is more suitable for me.

    Regards,
    Joe

  178. Hello Joe,

If I am correct, NF mostly has only 3 systems (Pin Bars, Inside Bars and Hikkakes). I have 11+ systems, such sBars, oBars, engulfing bar setups, inside bars, pin bars, 3P HLR reversals, 6NT pullbacks, MidStream Breakouts, RS3 Breakouts, Reversion Plays, so quite a lot more in terms of systems.

But a major difference is I have quantitative data to back my systems up (NF doesn’t). In addition to this, all my systems are completely rule-based, meaning there are exact rules for entries, stops, limits, taking profits – everything, whereas with NF’s material, you have to figure out a lot of the elements yourself and make a lot more discretionary decisions. This makes it more difficult to actually make a trade, which both increases your emotions and decreases your learning curve.

On top of this, I have over 14+hrs of video instruction, and am adding new material each month, while NF’s hasn’t added a new video in 6+ months. Add in the fact that I teach you how to read the order flow behind the price action, so when you put this all together – there is no comparison.

So hopefully this gives you some good information to understand the clear differences between the two.

    Thoughts?

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  179. hi, Chris

searching through the videos i dont see any examples of reading a 1 minute chart. oke i think understand you read charts in combination , like 1, 5 and 15 minute.

  180. hi,Joe

i did NF course. and what Chris says here i think his course would be the better bet for your money. i expected more of the course by NF.

    mvg,
    Tom

  181. Hello Tom,

I don’t analyze 1m charts on the site because the setups would expire incredibly fast and thus not be useful to other traders. That + if I did, I’d be giving away our models for analyzing price action in those environments.

But in the course we have systems to trade on the 3m, 5m, and up, but its really about the models being used on those time frames.

My personal intra-day favorite is the 5m which I trade every day.

    Hopefully this clarifies it.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

  182. Thanks Chris for very prompt response. And, thank to Tom too for your insights:-). I think i have made up my mind.
Just curious questions, Chris. Do you consider yourself as an “authority expert” on Price Action? And, who else in the world are experts on Price Action that you admire or know of or learn from?

  183. Hello Joe,

I consider myself to be someone who has a unique perspective on price action, as someone who takes a different approach regarding it,

The people i like in terms of price action are long dead, such as jesse livermore, or richard wykoff, both of whom had some interesting ideas about price action.

But today, things have changed with HFTs, and all the technological and regulatory changes, so i dont have anyone today i read per se. I feel by my chart time, experience and models i use in the market, i have the tools necesary to read and trade the price action successfully.

Hope this helps and to be working with you soon.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre

    Hi Chris

I have looked at some of the videos at this website and your thread at babypips. very interesting indeed.
I have a question, do people get live signals as well when they join ?

    Thanks,
    Sharmaji

  191. Hello Sharmaji,

Am glad you like the site and videos.

As to live signals, I do not post live signals, but my students, particularly my top students post live trade setups every day several times a day,
so quite a lot of interactive eyes on the charts spotting the setups and posting.

Hope this helps give you some good information.

    Kind Regards,
    Chris Capre
