Hi Chris,
I am interested in your courses. Which one would you recommend for an medium advanced trader, who wants to trade in the first place on daily and 4hour charts and is open to a limited time for intradaytrading on smaller timeframes the euro or indices?
Is the ichimoku methods useful to handle on intraday charts?
Thanks
All the best
Christian
Hello Christian,
Good questions. Since you are only available to trade the 4hr and daily candles, I’d definitely recommend either the Price Action Course which has rule-based systems strictly for trading those time frames. The systems require very little management in terms of time so is perfect for your situation. But it also has the pivot systems which are intraday focused as well so you have a nice balance here.
Between this and the Ichimoku, i’d lean towards the Price Action Course for what you are looking for as it has more systems for this.
Thoughts?
Kind Regards
Chris

Hello Shirley,
Yes, know Malaysia very well, have many clients from there – strong group.
In terms of which would be best for a newbie, i’d recommend either the Price Action Course or the ProForex Course as they have rule-based systems so it helps your learning curve, yet highly robust.

Dear Chris: I am an American living in Thailand for a spell, would like to trade my own U.S.A. market. Because of the time zone difference between Bangkok Thailand and New York I thought perhaps trying to learn trade set ups after the marketb closes in New York at 5 pm est coz I am certainly more away on this side of the international date line. Would a platform showing 5 day closes rather than 6 days be better for trade set ups (daytrading), and can your course teach me how to do that as well.
Hello Alan,
Some good questions. It is preferred to have 5 day closes as this more accurately reflects the market which is really 5 days of pure trading and allows for cleaner charts since the trading is 5 full days.
In terms of day trading, I have two courses which teach that;
1) ProForex Course
2) Price Action Course
Both of them teach day trading techniques and explain how to enter the market, what type of order, when to take profits, where to put your stops, how to adjust stops after taking profit, everything. They both teach rule-based systems, just depends upon what you prefer. If you want clean charts with no indicators, then i’d recommend the Price Action Course. If you are comfortable working with indicators and like working with them, then the proforex course would be more suited to that, but both can teach you to trade the market successfully.
Thoughts?
Feel free to email me info@2ndskies.com with any further questions.
Kind Regards,
Chris
Post Scrip: Because of the time frame difference, I am far more awake during the early morning hours in Thailand. Alsoyou course would teach me what kind of market orders to use,and when and where to place them. I have read something about trailing stops but to be frank with you it is rather hazy. I will no doubt have further questions, just need to make sure I am not being thrown to the wolves in no man’s land. It is hoped that your course will or would empower me to trade the market succssfully realizing of course there will or would times to when somemone money would be lost. Alan Kleeger

Hey Chris,
Just an observation here with a question included: Why is it that I very seldom see you recommending your Ichumoku course? Is it that you are really trying to move away from Ichimoku perhaps, or just that you prefer the Price Action courses more?
Kind Regards,
GF
Hello Gary,
Good question. You may know I am writing a book on price action now, so naturally, my efforts will be to guide more of my information and promotional efforts towards this to build up buzz around price action prior to the release of my book. Once I am done with this, ill do a book on ichimoku and then you’ll see me promoting ichimoku quite heavily.
Hope this clarifies it, but I love ichimoku and some of my favorite systems are ichimoku. Of course…price action as well
Kind Regards,
Chris
