Chris Capre started trading the Forex markets in 2002 and by 2004 was hired by the largest retail broker FXCM where he was a standout employee. In 2006, Chris was hired to trade for the JNF Hedge Fund and he was the only trader to trade for the fund who was not trained internally. By 2007 he opened Second Skies LLC http://2ndskiesforex.com to offer his unique insights into trading and to helping others become profitable.
Now he is the current Fund Manager for White Knight Investments and has a book set to be published by Harriman House by the end of 2010 called ‘Price Action and Pivot Points’. This book will change the game in terms of how people trade with Pivot Points and Price Action as it will unleash 10 years of proprietary quantitative data never published before.
In the Summer of 2009 FXstreet.com asked Chris to publish a DVD which was just released on Pivot Points and Swing Trading. The DVD focuses on empowering you to day-trade with simple rule-based high-probability strategies. Using quantitative data on pivot points, the DVD gives you precise methods for day-trading, finding reversals at key levels, trade breakouts based upon statistics, and how to find the best entries and exits for your trading.
Before trading the global markets, Chris obtained dual degrees in NeuroScience (B.Sc.) and Philosophy (B.A.) from Northern Illinois University in 1999 where he graduated Magna Kum Laude as a Golden Key National Honor Student. He later taught Yoga for 7 years and over 3000 classes where he acquired ‘Master Class’ credentials while he continues to practice yoga and meditation everyday.
Now that he has become a successful Forex Trader, he resides in his second home in Buenos Aires, Argentina as he can live anywhere in the world trading professionally. He also loves to in his spare time teach weekly classes at FXstreet.com on Ichimoku Trading.
His specialties include using Ichimoku, Price Action, Pivot Point and Quantitative models and he is currently the only person teaching classes on the Ichimoku Cloud in the Western Hemisphere.
In his free time, he’s often vacationing to warm climates, dancing Argentine Tango, practicing Muay Thai and serves on the Advisory Board for IBTimes FX.
